Heroic Labs joins the Defold Foundation as a corporate partner

The Defold Foundation welcomes Heroic Labs as a corporate partner. The Defold Foundation will work together with Heroic Labs to make the Nakama open-source realtime server for apps and games available to Defold developers.
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN - May. 26, 2020 - The Defold Foundation today announced that Heroic Labs joins the foundation as a corporate partner. The Defold Foundation will work together with Heroic Labs to make the Nakama open-source realtime server for apps and games available to Defold developers. The Nakama open-source realtime server will be made available as an official client library with support for the full range of client APIs, including authentication, matchmaking, leaderboards, multiplayer and realtime chat.

We share Heroic Labs passion for open source development and we support their goal to solve the pain points with cloud services and server development. The support for Nakama will make scalable social and multiplayer game development accessible to Defold developers,” said Defold Product Owner Björn Ritzl.
