Hacktoberfest is an annual celebration of open source projects and open source contributors. During the month of October, Hacktoberfest invites you to join open-source software enthusiasts, beginners, and the developer community by contributing to open-source projects.
The Defold Foundation is participating in Hacktoberfest as the maintainer of a number of open source projects:
- Defold main repo (GitHub) - Contribute to any open issue
- Defold documentation (GitHub) - Contribute translations and improvements
- Defold examples (GitHub) - Contribute with additional example snippets of how to use Defold and the various APIs
- Defold native extensions - Contribute bug fixes and improvements
You can join Hacktoberfest by signing up on the Hacktoberfest webpage and then contribute through quality pull requests to the repositories listed above (or any other open-source repository participating in this years event).
